Magaluf

Magaluf's reputation precedes itself. It is widely regarded as one of the premier party resorts in Europe and it's buzzing nightlife and wonderful silver-sand beaches have been attracting adventurous holidaymakers for decades.

There is certainly more to Magaluf's appeal than simply it's lively nightlife. A new multi-million euro upgrade of the beach and facilities has ensured that it is one of the most attractive and modern resorts in Europe. Its beauty attracts many couples and families in the off-season but during the summer months Magaluf is most definitely a party haven for young and energetic holidaymakers.

Magaluf infectious atmosphere at night is blended with a lively, yet relaxing ambience during the day. Holidaymakers can soak in the sun while enjoying sangrias in one of the beachside bars or engage in some of the vast array of water sports on offer.

The town is situated on the western end of the stunning Bay of Palma, surrounded by lush vegetation and palm-fringed Mediterranean beaches. The island's capital, Palma, lies only 9 miles away and is perfect for a day trip to explore the wide range of shops and boutiques on offer.

With a wide range of quality bars and restaurants, buzzing clubs and discos and a wealth of activities and distractions to choose from, Magaluf really is the holiday resort that has it all.

Magaluf boasts the largest and most beautiful beach on the south side of the island. Every afternoon, holidaymakers flock to these golden shores to relax after the night's adventures under the glowing sun. A host of beach activities and water sports are available including jet skiing, surfing, waterskiing and scuba diving to please the more active guests.

Attractions
While most of the daytime activities are centred on the beach, there is a range of other attractions to keep holidaymakers occupied. For those seeking adventures in the open waters, there is a submarine tour available as well as a range of different 'booze cruises' that prove extremely popular with tourists.

Two water parks provide the perfect way to cool down while the nearby Marineland has dolphin and seal shows to entertain tourists of all ages. A plethora of other attractions lie within easy reach of Magaluf including a golf course and go-kart track, as well as bungee jumping and pony trekking.

Nightlife
Magaluf's main attraction is, without a doubt, it's vibrant nightlife. The bustling night streets are lined with bright lights and pulsating music adding to the energetic atmosphere that is so unique to the town. Holidaymakers are sure to find the perfect night out in the myriad bars, nightclubs and discos along the legendary Punta Ballena Strip. Enormous nightclubs offer numerous drinks promotions to seduce partygoers into the foam parties and big name DJ's that feature regularly.

The Pirates Adventure theme show proves to be a very popular attraction with tourists coming from all over the island to enjoy a spectacular night of good clean fun.

Eating and Drinking
As Magaluf is essentially a holiday town, there is an abundance of restaurants that serve some quite recognizable foods. The town contains some familiar favourites such as Burger King, McDonalds and Pizza Hut as well as pubs serving Sunday Roasts and English breakfasts. There are numerous restaurants that serve more local flavours for those who want something more authentically Spanish.
