You will find Irish and English bars. Molly Malone’s located on the Town Hall square definitely has the best location of them all.

O’Malley’s and Club Havana provide ample opportunities for nights of revelry. Another, slightly classier hang-out is the oldest pub in town Hell Hunt, where you can eat an amazing meal, washed down with  great variety of beer with some incredible music on the side.

You may wish to try trawling the city's excellent lounge bar scene. Over the last few years Tallinn’s trendy nightspots have characterised its nightlife, and visitors have a few great options to choose from if they want to see and be seen. The CatHouse is definitely one of them. A visit to the Butterfly Lounge is a must for any visitor to Tallinn as it provides an excellent competition of mixing cocktails. Clazz is another venue that is worth a look too.

This respectable establishment hidden under Town Hall Square hints at old-style regality all the while providing a decidedly modern and down-to-earth dining experience that won't bust your budget. The menu is international, dominated by fillets with a couple of pastas thrown in for good measure. Delicately prepared food and professional service made the experience come off without a hitch.

Troika

Raekoja plats 15

Troika is one of Tallinn’s must-see cellar restaurants. Troika wows its customers with its cosy, old-style Russian décor and a singer who belts out folk songs from a balcony from time to time. The best thing about Troika is the food; its excellent bliny and its pelmeni as well as a selection of traditional main courses. The service is superb and you are definitely advised to book ahead.

Shopping

There are plenty of shopping opportunities in Tallinn. The Old Town of Tallinn is literally lined with dozens of souvenir, antique and speciality stores. Within the Old Town, you must head to the main shopping streets of Viru, Müürivahe, Suur-Karja, Väike-Karja and Kullassepa. The most central shopping centre is Viru Centre and it is home also to the Kaubamaja department store. Kaubamaja and Stockmann offer everything from electronics to cosmetics as well as so many clothing sections.
