Corporate/Leisure Travel Consultants


We have an exciting opportunity for Travel Consultants to join Club Travel! Applicants must be organised, industry aware and have a passion for learning and developing.


Key Responsibilities

• Providing Travel Management Services to our client base

• Booking Flights, Hotels, Car Hire, Rail and other services as required

• Conversing with our clients by phone and email

• Liaise with your manager to discuss complications, developments and sales

• Advise current and prospective clients about destination options


The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in GDS, preferably Amadeus

• At least 18 months experience in travel

• Passion for Travel, personal travel experiences advantageous

• A strong client focus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Fluent English

• Ability to work under pressure

Long Haul Manager


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Long-haul manager to join our Retail department here at Club Travel! The ideal candidate will have the foresight to develop and expand both Budget Travel USA and Escape2 brands.


Key Responsibilities

• Development of our long-haul leisure brands with the aim of identifying and creating new sales opportunities

• Working alongside the HR Manager on a recruitment drive to source the market for experienced consultants

• Coaching, training and developing new and existing team members by providing feedback on performance standards and objectives; assists with development plans; and conduct one-on-one meetings on a regular basis

• Serve as a role model to the reservations team by demonstrating outstanding service and expertise on our reservations systems.

• Monitoring work processes to ensure maximum operational effectiveness within their teams

• Be market aware, continually analyse competitors’ prices, products and services to ensure our brands are performing competitively


The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years GDS experience, preferably Amadeus

• Previous experience of managing, motivating and developing a sales team

• Passionate about travel and extensive personal travel experiences

• Positive energy and drive with a "can do" attitude

• Advocate for the team’s success with emphasis on promotion of consistent sale increases

Corportate Sales and Account Manager – Ireland South


We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Sales and Account Manager to join our Club Travel HRG Team! This role will primarily focus on targeting new Corporate Sales in Munster and the surrounding areas as well as account management of existing and new clients in the region.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop plans to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

• Conduct market research and identify competition and business trends.

• Meet with potential clients and create and deliver account proposal plans aligning with their financial and service objectives.

• Complete the bid process from start to finish, including negotiating rates, contract agreements and assisting with the onboarding process.

• Management and development of pre-existing Munster based clients

• Build and maintain relationships with all key partners within client's organisations that enrich our business partnership and use such networks to generate potential sales with comparable businesses.

• Develop and maintain best practices, policies, and service initiatives to achieve optimal sales service and client retention.

• Perform other duties, projects, and reports as assigned by General Manager, as deemed necessary for the growth of the business.

• Maintain daily communication and/or weekly reporting with management regarding potential new business, lost business, sales activities, customer and operational issues.

• Represent the company professionally and credibly at all times.


The Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record of success of the sales cycle from plan to close

• Excellent and proven track record of account management within the travel industry

• Exemplary organisation and planning skills - project management qualification advantageous

• Fluent English

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with personable and professional presences and ability to influence at all levels

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong face to face negotiation skills

• Ability to achieve targets and meet deadlines

• Self-motivated and ambitious individual who has a passion for success and travel


Additional information:

• Salary is dependent on experience however competitive with additional benefits

• Based in Munster - Full clean driving license and own transport preferred (travel time unpaid).

• This role may include travel throughout the UK and Europe

• Working days: Monday to Friday
