European Accessibility Act (EAA) Statement
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is a directive designed to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities by establishing common standards for key products and services across the EU. At Club Travel and affiliated companies, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including individuals with disabilities. We are actively working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards across our digital platforms.
Scope of Accessibilty Commitment
This statement applies to our consumer-facing websites and booking systems. These services fall under the scope of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which requires digital accessibility for services offered to the general public. Our corporate travel services, including client-specific booking systems and portals provided under business-to-business (B2B) contracts, are not subject to the EAA. These platforms are accessible only to authorized users via secure login and are not available to the general public. However, we remain committed to usability and accessibility best practices across all our services, including those used by corporate clients
Measures to support accessibility
We are working toward compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and preparing for WCAG 2.2. Key measures implemented include:
• Text alternatives for non-text content (e.g., images, icons, buttons)
• Captions and transcripts for multimedia content
• Full keyboard navigability
• Clear and consistent navigation structure
• Properly labeled forms and inputs
• Adjustable text size and sufficient color contrast
Ongoing improvements
We are continuously testing and enhancing our platforms. Planned improvements include:
• Adding discernible text to all buttons and links
• Enhancing color contrast while preserving brand identity
• Correcting heading structure and alt text usage
• Ensuring all form fields and select elements are properly labeled
• Enabling text scaling and zoom functionality
Compliance status
We are actively working toward compliance with the EAA and WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Some third-party content may not yet meet these standards, but we are engaging with partners to improve accessibility wherever possible.
