Corporate Training Officer

 

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Training Officer to join our Club Travel HRG team!

Applicants must be organised, industry aware and have a passion for teaching.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Training new intakes on basic use of CBOSS, Amadeus, rail reservations and other Club Travel systems and procedures. 

• Work with supervisors to arrange extra tuition and assistance with new intakes and ongoing training for junior consultants and admin team, as required. 

• Collate training needs assessments and monitor competency levels for junior consultants to ensure they are progressing and meeting their full potential.

 

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Experience working on a Corporate admin team would be an advantage. 

• Minimum 1 year travel consultant experience preferable. 

• Intermediate knowledge of GDS / Amadeus required. 

• Applicant should have good presentation and communication skills.

• An ability and desire to assist in the development of others. 

• They should be an advocate of Club Travel HRG as a place to work.

Experienced Travel Consultants

 

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Travel Consultant to join our Club Travel HRG team! Applicants must be organised, industry aware and have a passion for learning and developing.

 

Key Reponsibilities

• Providing Travel Management Services to our client base

• Booking Flights, Hotels, Car Hire, Rail and other services

• Conversing with your client by phone and email

• Seek feedback from your client to continuously improve the service

• Liaise with your manager to discuss complications, developments and sales

 

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in GDS, preferable Amadeus

• At least 18 months experience in travel, preferable Corporate reservations

• Passion for Travel

• A strong client focus

• Excellent verbal and written comminication skills   

• Fluent English

• Ability to work under pressure

• Good oragnisational skills

TRAVEL AGENTS TRAINEE

 

Here at Club Travel we are seeking trainee travel agents who have a passion and desire to work within the travel industry. Our Training Programme has a high success rate and is considered ‘best in class’ in the Irish Market. It is not ‘theoretical’ training but combines theory with hands on and actual real work experience from an early stage.

 

The ideal candidate:

• Experienced and confident in dealing with the public

• Comfortable in a selling or advisory role

• Hard working, flexible and enthusiastic about working in Travel

• Fluent in English (written and oral)

• Friendly, outgoing with a strong and proven work ethic

• Able to deal with challenges that customers may have

• Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a recognised Travel and/or Tourism qualification but other 3rd level qualified applicants will be considered.

• Knowledge of destinations, geography and first-hand travel experiences is an advantage

 

Training – Year 1

We have an exciting and opportunity for a Product & Distribution Agent who will be responsible for managing effective, accurate hotel rate distribution in the Customer Reservations System and Online Booking Engine through rate loading and information management.

Key Responsibilities:

Rate Loading

• Loading of Contracts and Promotions provided by our partner hotels

• Updating current contracts with close outs and stop sales

Rate Research

• Research rates on OTA's

• Provide analysis of rate comparisons

Rate Support

• Performing quality assurance checks for properties rates

• Compiling statistics reports


The Ideal Candidate:

• Well organized and detail oriented, with a high sense of accountability and accuracy

• Highly motivated and flexible, possessing the ability to take initiative, to succeed while under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook

• Ideally have experience in rate distribution in the hospitality industry

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our Digital Marketing department for the Summer. Requirements:
