International Business Development Manager

Job description

•    Development and execution of promotional campaigns in the international business to business (B2B) commercial sector.

•    Gaining a clear understanding of target Markets, and inidvidual customers' businesses and requirements.

•    Building and executing B2B Marketing strategies in line with our business objectives.

•    Identification of new customers and market segments for our (award winning) services in Irish, UK and international markets.

•    Creating detailed proposal documents, as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer.

•    Solution selling (for both technology and services).

•    Research and analyses of market trends and regulatory driven opportunities.

•    Develop and maintain relationshoips with potential clients.

•    Maintenance of sales contact and status information in

•    International Travel can be expected (20-30%).


Skills, experience required:

•    6+ years sales and marketing experience, of which at least years' B2B experience.

•    Proven track record of selling to new business prospects (Essential).

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into simple concepts.

•    Experience in the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing campaigns.

•    Proven track record of analysing and optimising campaign performance and generating insights to increase customer acquisition and retention.

•    Excellent communicator with the ability to build cross functional relationships.

•    Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi task.

•    Proactive self-starter, highly detail oriented.

•    Experience in carrying out market research and competitor analysis.

Job description

The ideal candidate for this role will have responsibility for the configuration, maintenance and installation of network and internet security appliances and software within the organization. They will be heavily involved in all network planning, administration and operations activities within a Microsoft environment. A heavy emphasis will be placed on network security.

Working for the Head of IT you will be responsible for maintaining existing projects while also sourcing new technologies to further enhance the organization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be required to manage and maintain the day to day security and system change lifecycle of our critical security devices and applications.

Reporting to: Head of IT


•    Administer key network, wireless, firewall technologies.

•    Work with and maintain server infrastructure within the Hyper-V environment.

•    Responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing technical documentation.

•    Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with industry best practice security standards while also aligning internal security standard.

•    Conduct research and development as part of ongoing improvement and assist with the design and documentation of new processes or practices.

•    Reviewing security audit logs, vulnerability alerts and other system alerts.

•    Provide various security metrics throughout the operating environment.

•    Act as an escalation point within the business to help resolve issues, from the IT Helpdesk, in a timely manner.

•    Performing and aiding web application penetration testing (ethical hacking) and vulnerability scanning activities.


Qualifications/ Requirements:


•    Proven track record in Network Security

•    Formal 3rd Level Information Technology or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a related technical role.

•    Fluent verbal and written English skills are a must. This role entails document writing and dealing with internal clients.

•    Strong knowledge of network routing/switching (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLAN, Subnets, Trunking, Link, aggregation, multi cast, other LAN protocols).

•    Good knowledge and experience with products such as Hyper-V, Windows Server, Qualys Security Suite.

•    Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlines while possessing proven problem-solving skills with an ability to work on your own initiative.

•    Flexibility with working hours (out-of-hours involvement in tasks may be required).

•    Ability and flexibility to perform all other job-related and ad-hoc duties as required

•    Some knowledge of VOIP technology and SIP, desired but not essential.


•    Excellent knowledge of Information Security principles, protocols, practices and industry standards.

•    Knowledge of network management and analysis tools (for example: netflow, PRTG, Wireshark)


•    Previous experience or exposure to ISO27001 and PCI Compliance

•    Experiencing working with Web Application deployments via AWS.

•    Working knowledge of client-server applications, multi-tier web applications, relational databases, firewalls, VPNs, and enterprise Anti-Virus products.

•    Familiarity with the tools and techniques used by ethical hackers including vulnerability scanners and network mapping tools.

•    Industry Certified Professional Qualifications an advantage (CCNA/MCSA)

We seek an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to assist improving our business processes, implementation of new systems and who will share responsibility for diverse IT projects including scope definition, planning, risk management, stakeholder management, project governance.
